Ghanaian actress and socialite, Rosemond Brown better known as Akuapem Poloo has shared a heart-warming goodbye message to her son as she returns to prison over an obscene image she posted on social media some months ago.
On April 16, 2021, Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to 90 days in prison, or three months, by an Accra Circuit Court after pleading guilty to charges levelled against her. She was charged with publishing naked pictures of her seven-year-old son. Before being convicted, she changed her not ‘guilty’ plea to ‘guilty.
At an appeal hearing today, December 1, 2021, at the Criminal Court 1 Division of the High Court, the appeal filed by Akuapim Poloo’s lawyers was dismissed, which means that Akuapim Poloo will have to return to prison to serve the sentence handed down by the Circuit Court.
Akuapem Poloo in response to the sentence shared an adorable picture of herself and her son in a white Kaftan on her Instagram page expressing her love and care for her son.
“Son I love you and God is with you always you know to be good till mummy comes back god is in control always”
