The CEO of Rave Media Group, Ruddy Kwakye has tasked event organizers to provide adequate security for their attendees during events.
Mr. Kwakye mentioned this when he was speaking on the security of people who intend to attend events this December on the “YFM Holiday Havoc Twitter Spaces”. He mentioned that individual organizations were to put in place certain security measures to secure attendees of their events. He added that since the attendees made payments to attend such events, the attendees and organizers undergo contractual agreements in which security must be inclusive.
“When you come to experiences and events, individual organizations also have a responsibility to providing a level of security and to protect the customers who you have invited and have made an economic transaction which is a contract,” he said.
Ruddy Kwakye also advised individuals who intended to attend events in December to take conscious decisions to provide security for themselves and be responsible for their assets.
“It’s the whole transaction is an option based you opt-in to come to the place so there’s a level of responsibility that you have to protect yourself and your things so there’s a balance that needs to be achieved in that place” he added
Ruddy Kwakye advised that event organizers go by regulations that will be put out by the security instruments of the state to ensure the safety of citizens and tourists during the festivities.
The YFM Holiday Havoc Twitter Spaces is a series of online conversations with knowledgeable event organizers and entertainment industry players to discuss upcoming events in December.
