The Western Region’s number one urban youth radio station, Y FM Takoradi, as part of its Y Revolution campaign is set to empower young Ghanaians through the ‘Y-Dialogues’ series.
The ‘Y Dialogues’ is youth empowerment dialogue series that seeks to positively impact the youth to dream big and reach greater heights in life. It is also set to provide a rich platform for knowledge sharing where young achievers share their knowledge, experiences and skillset with the youth to inspire them to succeed.
Speaking about the power-packed event, the Programmes Manager of Y Takoradi Agyekum Gyimah intimated that, the calibre of resource persons for the event makes it one that shouldn’t be missed.
‘’ We selected our speakers carefully so that our intention to inspire will be achieved. We have Eli Daniel Wilson who is Head of Digital Media and innovations at GMA and team lead ‘Whoopro’, Trigmatic – Entrepreneur/Philanthropist/Musician, Ralph Menz – Tech Entrepreneur, Filmmaker & a photographer and CEO at Naa Sika (A financial Tech Company) and Shantelle Dapaah – Multi Award-winning model, Social Media Influencer and content creator lined up to speak at the event and impact knowledge’’ he said.
He also said ‘Y Dialogues’ will provide an opportunity for networking, skills sharing and open learning in digital skills.
‘’I am extending a special invitation to those who have completed Senior High School {SHS}, University students, young entrepreneurs, or any young person out there who wants to network, and build capacity to join us come 30th October 2021’’ he stated.
This year’s ‘Y Dialogues’ edition is in collaboration with Takoradi Mall and slated for 30th October at 12:00pm, under the theme ‘Bridging the unemployment gap through digitization’.
The Y Dialogues will be held at the Takoradi Mall and it is free.
